Caroline Evans
Board Member, Bay Area Emerging Museum Professionals (BAEMP)
Caroline credits her parents for her love of museums because when she was little, for a period of time, they visited the same museum every weekend. Years later that museum would serve as her first official job. That museum was the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose.
From the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, Caroline now works at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View. Currently she is an event coordinator and helps companies and organizations host their events at the museum, as well as coordinating film crews to film the museum and its collection. Her favorite project is creating special programs for the museum’s Friday Nights @ CHM event series.
Along with her love of museums, Caroline is passionate about advocacy, especially mental health and invisible illness advocacy. She believes that museums can help bring awareness to these topics and many others.
Caroline graduated with a B.A in literature and history from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In her spare time you can find her visiting museums, going to concerts, reading, blogging, cuddling with her cats and traveling.
