Harry Murphy has had professional experiences as a teacher of middle school students at The Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, researcher at John Tracy Clinic in Los Angeles, Principal of the Southwest School for the Deaf in Lawndale, CA, and Assistant Director, National Center on Deafness at CSUN. He is also the Founder and Director of the Center on Disabilities and Founder of the International Conference on Technology and Disabilities at CSUN. His major activity in retirement is as a lecturer on cruise ships and he and his wife, Dr. Deborah Gilden, happily travel the world on beautiful ships. He and Debby have two daughters and four grandchildren.
